Our Vision

All women and children live in homes that are free from family and sexual violence.

Our Purpose

To support women and their children in North West Tasmania to escape family and sexual violence, and transition to safe homes.

Who are we?

Formerly known as Warrawee Women’s Shelter, we have been providing crisis accommodation for women and children of the North West for over 40 years.

As an organisation, we are evolving to be fully trauma informed in the way we provide support to our community, and building capacity to meet the high numbers of family violence and homelessness in the North West.

We are the only women’s shelter providing specialist support in the Latrobe/Devonport/Central Coast region.

We are staffed 24/7 and work collaboratively with other service providers in the family violence and homelessness sectors. We offer specialised therapeutic care, crisis support, and client led case planning and management.
